Abstract
Natural Science Park Project in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, a Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhornroom, is a state property which is under the care of the Royal Thai Army. The general topography is forest and mountains where is part of the Tenasserim mountain, Thailand. The climate is generally different throughout the year, high relative humidity and rain falling during the months of June – July. Presently, the Natural Science Park is still a forest that present the diversity of genetic and species in the ecosystem. Interestingly, The Natural Science Park is suitable habitat conditions for wild mushrooms which are the main living groups used to indicate food sources, an abundance of diversity, and forest integrity. However, there are very few reports and studies on wild mushroom diversity in the Natural Science Park project area. Therefore, it is necessary that will study the diversity and utilization of wild mushrooms in the Natural Science Park to use as an academic database for conservation, utilization As well as for the benefit of using wild mushrooms to study and apply research results to local people. In addition, researchers have planned for the local people to participate in some steps of this project. For the benefit of creating common knowledge raising awareness and causing jealousy in wild mushroom resources of Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, Thailand. The survey of wild mushrooms will take 5,800 meters of two study trails around the Natural Science Park’s office (about ??50 Rai) for a period of 1 year. This study will be to collect wild mushroom and classification. The results will use as information for the wild mushroom database and building of the permanence mushroom learning center at The Natural Science Park.
