Abstract

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a common complication in patients with diabetes mellitus (diabetes hereafter). Diabetic nephropathy is a significant cause of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal failure globally. Screening begins at diagnosis of type 2 diabetes is essential. The exponential amplification reaction: EX-PAR) were applied with CRISPR/Cas12a system and integrated with the electrochemical analytical method. This platform detection has the potential to detect a few amounts of miRNA in urine. The aim of this proposal (phase 1) is to optimize the amplification method based on EX-PAR and CRISPR/Cas for miRNA electrochemical detection of DN in urine.
