Abstract
Suan Paket Nom Klao is a community forest park that is different from other public forest parks, because community forestry is managed by the community, but the area is owned by the state. The utilization of community forest areas is different from public forest parks because communities should be able to use forest products to generate income. But the park is not commercially usable because it is a basic utility. At present, forest plantations are not managed to enable the use of carbon footprints. Forest carbon credits are so low because the forest area is not very large, they are not worth exchanging money for. Even so, the use of carbon credits can be applied to ecotourism. At present, Suan Pa Ket villagers have provided services to CSR tourists and foreign tourists, but no carbon credit calculations have yet been made, which may be beneficial in the future to be proposed as a policy for redeeming more carbon credits. There are three parts in this project plan: 1) A new service design and improvements to the existing low-carbon service. 2) Footprint calculation of tourism activities occurring and economic carbon absorption assessment. 3) Assessing the carbon value of community forestry will create a policy for managing community forestry that is different from that of public forest parks. Assessing the carbon value of community forestry will create a policy for managing community forestry that is different from that of public forest parks. It can also adjust the resource and energy consumption behavior of service providers and tourists based on the carbon credits used in each activity or production process. The project expects that the community can earn more, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create job opportunities for the community and future generations.
