Abstract
The scintillation materials are used to detect radiation for a wide range of applications such as geology, security, astronomy and medicine. High light yield, fast decay (fast response time) and moisture resistance scintillation materials will have a very high value. Over the past 10 years, multicomponent garnet crystals have been developed. However, there are still limitations in response time. Therefore, the development of fast-response multicomponent garnet scintillation materials may lead to further development of commercial scintillation materials.
