บทคัดย่อ

During a dramatical increase of the number of COVID-19 patients recently, establishing field hospitals is one of the effective and urgent solutions ​for temporarily expanding the capacity of national healthcare system to take care of the infected. Mobile robots is a practical solution that helps delivering food and medicine to patients. Physical distances between the health workers and patients can be kept for extensive safety. However, deployment of the robots in this situation is challenging due to a number of restrictions. Therefore, the development and implementation of the robots need to be carefully planned and executed. In this article, CARVER-mini, a mobile robot with tele-operation capability is developed based on an existing autonomous mobile robot platform. The robot can be controlled via the web-app on a cloud server. The robot is designed to be setup-free. The users can adopt and use it immediately with minimal training required.
