Optimization of machine assignment in the regasification and send out process of LNG

In this research, we formulate the optimization model of machine assignment in the regasification and send out process of LNG by using Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP). The objective of the model is to minimize the energy cost subject to the send out rate as customer specified under the process condition by using Excel solver. The results of the comparison between the current machine assignment method and the
propose method (MINLP) show the MINLP can reduce energy cost more than the current method with an
amount of 3.05 Million baht or 9.68%
