Abstract
Inculcating desirable characteristics of compassion for others in adolescence is essential as it is considered a foundation for morals and ethics. Preparing and developing young people to have generous spirits which is the manifestation of an interpersonal trait will result in a beneficial and healthy society, community, and country. The purposes of this study were to conduct documentary research in terms of concepts and theories, develop a learning framework using the ADDIE Model learning design process, and evaluate its appropriateness. The results showed that a learning framework to enhance compassion in late adolescence comprised of three interconnected dimensions of internal and external conditions, i.e., self-compassion, compassion for others, and openness to compassion from others. It is also incorporated six main steps, i.e., receiving, understanding, awareness, responding, crystallizing, and creating. The results of the Index of Item Objective Congruence (IOC) which was assessed by experts in related fields confirmed that every step of the learning framework was appropriate.
