A Boolean Modeling Framework for Drug Synergy Prediction in Breast Cancer

Breast cancer (BC) is one of the leading causes of death, contributing to about 2.1 million cases in 2020. Thus, effective drug regimens are needed to reduce the burden. Although machine learning models were increasingly developed for drug synergy prediction, they failed to explain the underlying mechanism of drug pair, which is crucial for understanding drug resistance in BC patients. Therefore, a framework for Boolean modeling for drug synergy prediction in BC is proposed to tackle this issue.
