Abstract

The objective of this research is to design and develop an experimental set on elasticity and Hooke's law in springs. It consists of an aluminum profile structure used to hang a spring that can be stretched with a counterweight and a motor. and an Arduino circuit that reads the length of the spring with a sensor. To find the constants of spring A, all 4 types, namely single, series, parallel and combination, are 29.88 N/m, 14.16 N/m, 59.11 N/m, and 20.44 N/m, respectively. It was found that all four spring constants were consistent with the theory. It shows that the built experimental set is accurate and precise, can be produced by oneself and has the application of electronic technology in teaching and learning at the secondary and higher education levels.
