บทคัดย่อ
Colorectal carcinoma (CRC) is one of the most common malignancies threatening human health and life safety, and there is still a lack of safe and effective therapeutic regiments. Therefore, there is an urgent need for new therapeutic strategies to treat CRC [1,2]. In recent years, several studies have confirmed the role of natural products as effective cancer prevention and treatment drugs. Mannooligosaccharides (MOSs) is categorized as prebiotic nondigestible short chain oligosaccharides. Various studies have indicated that variety of MOSs form different natural sources has been considered the potential candidates against cancer due to their anticancer activities and non-toxic characteristics [3,4]. However, the potential anticancer activity of MOSs extracted from copra meal (CMOSs) and their mechanisms of action are still unclear. Until now, little has been done to demonstrate the anticancer properties of CMOSs on human CRC.
