Abstract

This paper discussed an approach to integrate Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Project-Based Learning (PBL), and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) principles to the design of the Creative Technology curriculum at the College of Multidisciplinary Sciences, KMUTT. We proposed that OBE, PBL and WIL, which are popular frameworks for curriculum design, are effective frameworks for designing curricula that prioritize learning outcomes and measurable objectives such as our programs.

In this paper, we described the design of our curriculum in detail, including our PLOs, YLOs, and CLOs. We also discussed the design of our yearly projects and solutions for applying WIL effectively. To evaluate the effectiveness of the CT curriculum in achieving desired learning outcomes, we interviewed our industry partners, and surveyed students and alumni.  The results suggested that the curriculum is effective in helping students achieve learning outcomes, and students showed a high level of satisfaction with the curriculum. The findings of the study may inform the development of future curricula and contribute to the body of knowledge of best practices in curriculum design.
