Robotics and Automation in Hospital

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence have become one of the New S-Curve industries that increase competitiveness level of Thailand. These technologies are applied not only in manufacturing sector but also medical and healthcare industry in order to meet the national goal which is a medical hub regionwide. In regard to healthcare and medical applications, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence are proved to be capable of improving accuracy and performance of the associated processes. They are used in hospitals and healthcare applications in order to improve three major areas: patient care, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. In this session, the overview of these technologies in hospitals – e.g. pharmacy logistics, transportation, personal care devices, AI diagnosis - will be explained. In addition, the ecosystem of research and development of the technology locally will be discussed.
