Drawing an inspiration and concept from the desire to extend the short life cycle of printed media such as the oneyear life cycle of calendars for further uses, the designer has looked for further uses under the context of Thai society. Through observing and collecting information regarding paper usage from Thai way of life, it was found that papers have already been reused in Thai way of life such as shredded papers to preserve eggs, glass wiping papers or papers used to take orders at a restaurant. All of these inspire 12 methods to reuse the 12 months of the calendar for all the sheets of paper as well as the cover. The concept and design of the calendar take into consideration further uses that are easy and applicable. The first day of the month is designed to be at the bottom so that the paper can be torn off and reused at the end of the day or week without having to wait for the end of the month. And this calendar is made through environ- mentally-friendly.
