Lighting narrative design (Content aesthetic reflect context)

Lighting is the important production of cinematographing. 'Narrative lighting' is an approach to design the lighting tells the story. Lighting helps the audience receive context signs about the scenes and the lighting also possibly expression plot line of a play or musical. The variety of genres, identities of these movies also possibly looked by lighting. The 4 aesthetic elements of line, shape, texture, and color. Light can show these 4 art elements in the frames of film. So, study is focus on audiences how they understand story during the scene without conversation from any character. Or during the scene that character’s talking something but lighting also tell more important in the same camera shot. With lighting approach in film production, it might progress the alternative art of film that can design the lighting to support emotions of storytelling. Moreover, in this approach, film artists possibly create successful 'lighting narrative’. And this study investigates how media art student got ability to do their design lighting.
