The Integration of a Film Art (Cinematic, Mise-en-scène 1) and the Creation
of an Art Film in the Documentary Genre”, is conducted within the film studies.
The outcomes of the study and research materialize as a product in the form of
an Art Film (Video Art) titled “INT. Memories - S A E N G” (The Internal Memories,
Light), a work encompassing dimensions of utility and aesthetic, serving as a
tool capable of providing support to students by exemplifying the explanation
of connections to foster “capability and understanding” within the context
of the content. Additionally, it cultivates the ability of the students to apply
acquired knowledge, resulting in a learning outcome in the form of an art film/
artwork. The conceptual framework of the research is outlined as follows: The
independent variables include “Thinking” and “Process”, while the dependent
variables consist of “Concept”, “Content”, and “Narrative”. Which aligns with
the research objectives of creating artistic work to cultivate understanding among
students and provide guidance through works that embody realism, fostering the
ability to explain, interpret, and effectively translate ideas into creative outputs.
