Abstract
This research proposes the LoRa mesh network routing using Prim’s algorithm to solve the communication issue encountered by a conventional star topology of LoRaWAN. The focus is to increase successful data transmission rate and decreasing transmission time in high attenuation environment. By using the Prim’s algorithm approach, the data extraction rate (DER) was 98.04%, around 36% over that of the star topology and 74% of the routing paths have lower time-on-airs (ToAs) than the star topology.
