This research aims to investigate the self-efficacy in using computer-aided design among undergraduate students majoring in jewelry and gems technology at Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok. The sample size of 32 participants were taken by a purposive sampling from the undergraduate students who have studied in the second year until the fourth year in the field of jewelry and gems technology. The research tool that used to collect data was an online questionnaire, which was based on the competency framework for using computers to design jewelry and gemstones of the Thai Professional Qualification Institute. In term of geometric forming of jewelry, the respondents showed the fair level of confidence, with = 4.13 and S.D.= 1.01, the ability of exporting the work file from the computer program was shown at the fair level of confidence, with = 4.09 and S.D.=0.98 and the overall result of the study was shown the fair level of very confidence, = 3.78 and S.D.= 0.87. When analyzing in terms of gender, male had higher value of = 4.14 and S.D.= 0.63 and female had a value of = 3.64 and S.D. = 0.70. It showed that men were more confident than women in studying this subject. To sum up, the study indicated that students' highest levels of confidence were found in topics, where general abilities such as creating geometric shapes and exporting work files. This information can be used to improve teaching and learning to develop students' ability levels to achieve self-efficacy in the future. This research aims to investigate the self-efficacy in using computer-aided design among undergraduate students majoring in jewelry and gems technology at Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok.
