Abstract
The company aims to tackle the challenges related to acquiring OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) information and addressing production delays. Currently, industrial engineers manually collect documents from employees on each production line, then input this data into Excel for OEE calculations and statistical analysis of issues. This monthly compilation of data is vital for decision-making and problem-solving. Upon using the why-why analysis tool, the production team identified a key problem: the lack of access to OEE data for production line employees and the limitations of paper-based data recording for assessing overall organizational performance. Therefore, we responded to the voice of the customer (VOC) by developing an application that simplifies production data recording and streamlines OEE and problem statistics processing. This aims to significantly reduce the workload of industrial engineers by eliminating redundant tasks, resulting in a 66.67% decrease in data access delay, while also reducing paper usage for data recording.
