Abstract
packaging that not only protects products but also enhances product communication by providing details about the contents. The research aims to create anti-counterfeiting packaging by designing sample packages with four additional anti-counterfeiting methods: microtext , Invisible ink printing, microtext printed with invisible ink and coating with hologram film. Testing these methods through image scanning and photocopy revealed that hologram film coating couldn't be replicated through scanning and photocopy. The sample group couldn't locate anti-counterfeiting features within the set time, except for the hologram film method. However, this method had the highest production cost per unit, followed by Invisible ink printing, while adding micro-text did not increase production costs. Each method had different effectiveness and production costs, emphasizing the importance of considering operational methods, verification processes, and increased production costs when implementing these anti-counterfeiting measures
