Abstract
Industrial applications for single-phase induction motors are common. Single-phase induction motors with capacitors are used in most production processes to drive mechanical loads. Choosing a motor that is appropriate for driving is important. The optimum operating range of the motor can help the motor operate efficiently. Thus, this paper presents an operating range analysis of single-phase induction motors and a determination of the compatibility of the motor with mechanical loads. The analysis presented here can help engineers determine the suitability of motors to drive mechanical loads. In order to the motor to work efficiently, it also helps the motor consume no more current than necessary.
