Abstract
Football is a highly popular sport in Thailand. Injuries from playing football are generally not very severe, but frequent injuries can significantly impact athletes. The researcher hypothesizes that if individuals involved with the athletes possess knowledge of first aid to care for young athletes, it can increase the chances of reducing injuries, benefiting both the athletes and their clubs.
The objective of this research is to study self-care practices among young football players and use this information to create a video for an application. The app, named Safesoc, is designed to provide basic self-care knowledge for young football players. The research also aims to evaluate the target group's satisfaction with the app.
A satisfaction survey was conducted with the parents of young football players and football coaches, totaling 31 participants. The overall satisfaction score from the target group was 4.22, which is considered good. Additionally, the Safesoc application was evaluated by experts in physiotherapy, app development, and football. The average score from these experts was 3.99, also considered good. This indicates that the target group is likely to adopt the Safesoc application in caring for young football players.
