Abstract
The research aimed to achieve the following objectives 1) To survey the needs of the sample group for the development of an electronic book in conjunction with an exhibition to enhance awareness of advertising photography for undergraduate students. 2) To develop and assess the quality of the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition by experts. 3) To compare the awareness of the sample group before and after viewing the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition. And 4) To evaluate the satisfaction of the sample group with the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition developed. The sample group consisted of 30 third-year undergraduate students enrolled in the ETM 344 Advanced Photography for Advertising course, from the Department of Educational Communications and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, registered in the 2/2023 academic year. The sample was obtained through simple random sampling by drawing lots. And there were 3 experts for each aspect, content quality and presentation media, evaluated through specified sampling. The research findings were as follows: The survey of the needs for developing the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition to enhance awareness of advertising photography revealed at the highest level of need (𝑥 was at a good level (𝑥 = 4.76, S.D. = 0.51). The quality of the content assessed by experts = 4.30, S.D. = 0.47), and the quality of the presentation media assessed by experts was at a good level (𝑥 = 4.42, S.D. = 0.40). The awareness of the sample group after viewing the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition was significantly higher than before at the .01 level. The satisfaction with the development of the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition developed was at the highest level (𝑥 = 4.93, S.D. = 0.26). In conclusion, the development of the electronic book in conjunction with the exhibition developed was of high quality and could be practically applied.
