Abstract
This study explores the vibrant world of Thai street food culture to inform the design of a short animation. By examining the visual elements of Thai street food scenes. We aim to capture the essence of the rich culinary tradition in an animated format. The research encompasses an analysis of typical street food environments, including night markets, food carts, and bustling sidewalk eateries. We investigate the interplay of colors, lighting, and textures that define these spaces. The study also delves into the social aspects of Thai street food culture, observing vendor-customer interactions. By synthesizing these observations, we develop a comprehensive understanding of the visual language and ambiance required to authentically represent Thai street food scenes in animation. The findings of this study will guide the creation of character designs, background art and color script for a short animation that immerses viewers in the lively and flavorful world of Thai street food.
