Abstract
This research involves the development of ratio estimators for the population average utilizing known
information from two auxiliary variables under simple random sampling. This estimator will cover the estimators of Cochran [1], Sisodia and Dwivedi [2], Upadhyaya and Singh [3], Singh and Tailor [4], Singh et al. [5], Yan and Tian [6 ], Subramani and Kumarpandiyan [7], Jerajuddin and Kishun [8 ], Singh and Agnihotri [9 ], Gupta and Yadav [10], and Sabo et al. [11]. The research presents important properties of the new estimators, such as bias, mean squared error (MSE), and minimum mean squared error (MMSE), and compares their performance with relevant estimators by considering the percentage relative efficiency (PRE). The comparison results indicate that the new estimator outperforms others in similar situations.
