Abstract
Electrical engineering is a traditional branch of engineering that continues to play a vital role in the world of business and industry—both today and in the future. It is closely connected to many aspects of engineering and industrial work. With the rapid advancement of emerging technologies, the future of electrical engineers is full of opportunities, challenges, and the need for constant adaptation in professional practice.
This includes areas such as renewable energy—especially solar energy technology—electric vehicles and batteries, smart grids, IoT, and machine learning. Future electrical engineers will need to broaden their knowledge and develop skills in IT, IoT, modern programming, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in engineering. Lifelong learning is essential for the next generation of engineers to keep up with disruptive technologies that are transforming multiple engineering disciplines and will continue to drive changes in our world.
On the occasion of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) entering its 65th year since establishment, the Department of Electrical Engineering has compiled a collection of valuable knowledge, drawn from leading academics across various fields and subject-matter experts, as well as findings from interesting studies. The aim is to share this knowledge with interested readers under the concept:
"Unlock the Power of Tomorrow with Electrical Engineering at KMUTT."
It is our hope that this publication will offer timely knowledge to the public and inspire students who are curious about the evolving technologies related to electrical engineering. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to TNP Media Advertising Partnership Ltd., all members of the editorial team, and every supporting organization from the business sector who made this special issue possible.
On behalf of the Department of Electrical Engineering at KMUTT, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone involved. We sincerely hope that this special issue—celebrating the 65th anniversary of KMUTT—will serve as a valuable resource for all our readers.
