Abstract
The objective of this research was to assess the learning outcomes of students, study the satisfaction of users of the training system for the Vocational Certificate program, the academic year 2562 B.E., and develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an automated training system using Programmable Controllers and HMI—the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. The sample comprised ten students enrolled in the Vocational Certificate Year 3, Electrical Engineering program at Ratchaburi Technical College during the first semester of the 2567 B.E. academic year. Purposive sampling was implemented to determine the sample. The research instruments comprised work documents, post-training evaluations, and an automated training system that implemented Programmable Controllers and HMI. The effectiveness of the skill training was assessed by comparing the performance scores of the sample group during the skill training to the post-training test scores. The devised training system obtained an efficacy rating of 87.67/84.00, which surpassed the predetermined threshold of 80/80, as indicated by the research findings. This suggests that the system is both efficient and appropriate for educational purposes. The student achievement results indicated an average pre-test score of 9.56 and an average post-test score of 16.56. The study's objectives were consistent with the post-test scores, which were markedly higher than the pre-test scores at the .05 level of statistical significance. Furthermore, learners' level of satisfaction with the instruction system was rated as the highest ( = 4.59, S.D. = 0.49).
