Abstract

An aim of this research was to develop a problem-solving skills from a set of experimental learning by scientific methods under the hypothesis of that the experimental learning from a real situation would yield higher cognitive abilities than the conventional method. Tools used in this study consisted of (1) a set of conventional lab sheet (2) The set of problem-solving experimental lab sheet  (3) a set of learning achievement test  and (4) a set of problem-solving test. Sampling group was 36 students who were studying in the second year of the Diploma programme in Electrical Power at Kanjanaburi Technical College. They were divided into two groups of 18 students randomly. Both groups were tested before and after the experiment. The experimental group learnt with lab sheet and constructed kit and the controlled group learnt with traditional laboratory sheet. The data were analyzed by  t-test statistic method.
