บทคัดย่อ

Currently, the trend of automobiles is transforming from a combustion engine to an
electrical system. This resulted in the growth of electric vehicle and charger markets and a
more competition in the industry. This research aims to study three main objectives including
1) to study and analyze factors that affect the interests of EV charger insurance for those who
are interested in purchasing electric vehicles and those who have owned electric vehicles;
2) to design EV Charger insurance policies and evaluate related risks to determine risk values
for each coverage; and 3) to calculate the premium of EV charger insurance policies. By using
the survey data from a non-life insurance company consisting of a total of 390 data and
applying data analysis techniques including factor analysis and logistic regression analysis,
insurance coverage for electric vehicle chargers were determined for EV charger plans which
can be divided into main coverage and additional plan. In addition, the data of loss occurred
from fire, steal, floods, storms, hail, and earthquakes from an insurance company is collected
from 2021-2022 and is used to determine the premium of each policy. It is found that the main
coverage premium costs from 1,918 Baht/year to 3,111 Baht/year and the additional premium
plan costs 2,424 Baht/year to 4,116 Baht/year.
