The act of blowing on the cake can transfer microorganisms from saliva to the cake surface, potentially leading to the spread of infections. This research focuses on developing a new type of cake packaging that addresses these hygiene concerns by preventing the transfer of pathogens. The study aims to design a paper-based packaging solution that aligns with the "New Normal" lifestyle, offering both practical and cost-effective protection for consumers. The research explores various design and production aspects to ensure the new designed packaging is functional, manufacturable, and able to meet cost constraints while improving hygiene standards in the cake industries.
