Abstract

A Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) in Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) is an important energy-sharing mode for Electric Vehicles (EVs), which is an option to charge their batteries instead of a Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V). Recently, advancements in designing Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) systems allow a single transmitter to supply multiple receivers, reducing the number of required power devices and lowering costs. This paper presents the advantage of the compensation circuit from the primary side of the multi-receiver WPT system for transferring energy between EVs.
