บทคัดย่อ

The importance of industrial factories in the modern era lies significantly in quality testing processes. Material fatigue testing, such as the fatigue of automotive wheels, is a critical aspect. However, employees involved in these processes may lack awareness of the importance of adhering to uniform standards or may be deficient in the analytical thinking skills necessary for effective quality testing. The adoption of new technologies and innovative learning approaches, such as game-based learning, has gained prominence in the era of the metaverse, which is now capable of simulating complex and realistic scenarios. A game on the Roblox Metaverse platform has been designed to promote learning and develop essential skills for factory work, such as analytical thinking, creativity, and effective decision-making. The research sample consisted of production engineers, specifically selected through purposive sampling, focusing on those responsible for fatigue testing. The learning process was based on standard lean principles, designed within the Roblox Metaverse platform. This design incorporated symbols and various models, resulting in a game titled Factory Runner. The tools utilized in this research included the Roblox Metaverse game Factory Runner and an achievement test focused on fatigue testing within the game, aimed at enhancing analytical thinking skills. The evaluation of the Factory Runner game indicated a very high-quality level. Participants demonstrated significantly improved learning outcomes after playing the game compared to before, with statistical significance at the.05 level. Players developed analytical thinking skills notably through engaging in simulated scenarios designed to reflect real-world issues in manufacturing. Analysis of skills improvement after two rounds of playing the Factory Runner revealed that the most prominently enhanced skills were evaluative thinking and relational thinking, both showing substantial advancement.
