Abstract
This research aims to introduce a method for analyzing the bending behavior of rubberwood hollow slabs, focusing on non-linear analytical methods and iterative techniques (AMIT). The analysis also considers the effects of material non-linearity obtains from the laboratory test. Additionally, the study investigates the impact of changing the size of components of the rubberwood hollow slabs on its bending resistance and production costs. The results indicate that the bending behavior of rubberwood hollow slabs can be analyzed using non-linear analytical methods and iterative techniques. In the case of maintaining a constant overall thickness, increasing the thickness of the upper and lower flange components significantly enhance higher bending strength compared to increasing the thickness of the web component in rubberwood hollow slabs. The evaluation of production costs was conducted based on the bending resistance performance and found that increasing the thickness of the flange components at the top and bottom results in a higher bending strength-tocost ratio than that of the web component.
