บทคัดย่อ
Efficient pharmaceutical logistics management in large hospitals is fundamental for optimizing healthcare delivery, minimizing operational costs, and significantly enhancing patient outcomes. This research systematically investigates critical logistics challenges prevalent in large Thai hospital settings, identifying prolonged procurement cycles, inventory inefficiencies, supplier non-compliance, prescription errors, and inadequate decision-making as primary concerns. Utilizing a rigorous mixed-method approach integrating qualitative stakeholder interviews, expert Delphi evaluations, and quantitative analyses, this study proposes thirteen structured policy recommendations designed to effectively address these challenges. Recommendations include streamlining procurement processes, integrating machine learning-based inventory forecasting, strengthening supplier accountability mechanisms, and implementing technological advancements such as automated dispensing systems (ADS) and decision support systems (DSS). Expert evaluations identified adjusting physician schedules and investing in logistics training and automation as the most impactful and rapidly implementable strategies. This study underscores the necessity of robust policy reforms, technological innovations, and strategic cross-sector collaboration, positioning hospitals to achieve substantial improvements in logistics performance, operational efficiency, and healthcare service quality.
