Abstract

We used a pendulum with a large bob to determine the local gravitational acceleration g. The comment introduces a correction factor that accounts for buoyancy and added mass. In this reply, we show how this factor modifies the governing equation and brings our previous results into closer agreement with the accepted value of g.
