Thung Khru: Co-designing a Learnng Street and Creative Canal

This project, Thung Khru: Co‑Designing a Learning Street and Creative Canal, reimagines the Puttabucha corridor as a healthy urban connector linking public facilities, green areas, and learning spaces. Developed through participatory workshops with the district office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and local residents, the design emphasizes walkability, cycling networks, and integration of existing canals and buildings. Key outcomes include safe pedestrian routes, shaded resting nodes, water‑filtering systems, and clear zoning of activity, learning, and recreation areas. The initiative enhances community well‑being, supports sustainable mobility, and demonstrates how collaborative design can transform everyday circulation into social infrastructure.
