บทคัดย่อ

This study aims to implement Bring Your Own Device Computer-Based Testing (BYOD CBT) for the Thai University Central Admission System, such as Thailand's TCAS, to address challenges in scalability, infrastructure, and security. The research employs the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology to develop and evaluate a Unified Reference Model for a secure and scalable BYOD CBT system.

The proposed model uniquely integrates a Persistent Queue (PQ) mechanism to ensure seamless data continuity and resilience against network instability. Key security features are incorporated, including policy enforcement, OS-layer isolation via USB-bootable systems, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privacy protection conforming to international standards. Furthermore, this study conducted a rigorous quantitative validation to confirm the system's scalability and performance under high-concurrency conditions typical of national-scale assessments. Expert evaluation confirmed the conceptual validity, while the quantitative results demonstrated the system's potential to achieve security and efficiency equivalent to traditional CBT, providing a robust framework for large-scale digital examination deployment.
