Abstract
Reptiles are among the most underappreciated yet critically endangered group of animals globally. A comprehensive global assessment by the IUCN red list reveals that one of the roughly 10,196 assessed reptile species, at least 21% are threatened with extinction1. In Southeast Asia, including Thailand. The reptile conservation situation mirrors these alarming global trends. A range of turtle, snake, and crocodilian species are listed as vulnerable. In the era where digital media often replace direct contact with nature, young people can grow up with limited firsthand experience of wildlife, especially perilous groups like predators or reptiles. The trauma of extinction extends beyond species loss; it includes the gradual erosion of human-animal relations, natural curiosity and embodied understanding of biodiversity. The overall approach of study concepts is to explore how to transcend traditional conservation messaging by leveraging creative media that can connect with imagination, tangible, playful object design with interpretive intention
