บทคัดย่อ

This practice-based research explores how cinematic storytelling can animate historical narratives and urban environments through material culture documentation in creative districts. Grounded in flâneur theory, the study positions film students as "eco-flâneurs" who engage comprehensively with urban spaces to generate knowledge about cinematic spatial experiences. Using comparative and experimental methodologies, the research investigates two key areas: (1) how digital visual and audio technologies including lighting, color correction, and sound — design influence narrative tone and urban space interpretation, and (2) pedagogical approaches that offer meaningful — alternatives to social media engagement with urban environments. The study analyzes material culture within creative districts through cinematic documentation, interpretation, and reimagination. Outcomes demonstrate how creative practitioners function as cultural mediators between past and present, applying flâneur principles to urban storytelling. The research contributes to theoretical frameworks for spatial cinematic storytelling applicable to cultural preservation and sustainable urban development. Results culminate in practical film productions that showcase innovative approaches to documenting and preserving urban cultural heritage through contemporary digital filmmaking techniques.
