บทคัดย่อ

Modern manufacturing sectors emphasize enhancing workforce competencies by leveraging technology to improve operational performance. In response to this need, the present study focused on developing a training web application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology and incorporates Scenario-Based Learning (SBL) to enhance the practical skills of new employees in industrial manufacturing, with a particular focus on the casting department, which has a high turnover rate of new personnel. The developed web application was evaluated by three experts, who unanimously agreed that the system demonstrated a high quality in both content and design. The participants were ten vocational students from the Work-Integrated Learning (WiL) program. A comparison of pre- and post-training scores revealed a statistically significant improvement in participants’ practical skills. The analysis of correct answer rates across different scenarios also reflected varying levels of understanding based on the complexity of the content. Data from questionnaires and indepth interviews indicated that participants held positive attitudes toward the AR-SBL training approach, reporting improved content comprehension, increased confidence in task performance, and effective application of acquired knowledge in real-world situations. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the AR-SBL training system and highlighted its potential for broader application in education, vocational training, and workforce development within the industrial sector.
