Abstract

Natural leaf-printed fabric is a handicraft product that combines local wisdom
with environmental concepts. It uses natural leaves to transfer patterns onto fabric through an Eco-print process, which doesn't use harmful chemicals and produces no waste. However, currently there is no packaging that adequately addresses transportation needs and communicates the value of the fabric appropriately. Specifically, this fabric is thin, light, and sensitive to moisture or impact. Additionally, the product has cultural design value, so it should have packaging that both protects the product and reflects the identity of the production source, such as leaf patterns or community uniqueness like Ban Kha pineapples. Therefore, this project aims to develop packaging structures and graphics suitable for natural leaf-printed fabric, using research-based design processes and actual testing to ensure practical future use.
