The presence of static electricity in the printing process of PP (Polypropylene) stickers poses significant challenges, affecting both print quality and production efficiency. Issues such as sticker jams in printing machines and ink inconsistencies are commonly encountered due to static buildup. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing static electricity accumulation on PP stickers and determine the optimal conditions for using an ionizing fan with a feedback sensor, specifically the SJ-F700 model. The goal is to mitigate static electricity and enhance the overall production process. Experiments were conducted to analyze the effects of temperature, relative humidity, printing speed, and ink type on static electricity levels. The performance of the SJ-F700 fan was tested under various conditions by measuring static electricity levels before and after its application.
The results indicate that these factors significantly influence static electricity accumulation. Moreover, using the SJ-F700 fan under optimal conditions effectively reduces static electricity, minimizing printing defects and improving production efficiency. The findings from this study provide valuable insights for controlling static electricity in the digital printing process of PP stickers, ultimately reducing production defects and enhancing product quality.
