Abstract
This project aims to develop an online learning module for using the Spectro Plate, a crucial tool in the printing industry. The study originates from observations during cooperative education training, highlighting the necessity for structured training before utilizing advanced printing technology. Traditional training often relies on in-person instruction, which may not be equally effective for all learners.
Online learning provides a flexible and accessible alternative, allowing printing company employees, students, and professionals to study at their convenience. This research evaluates the module’s quality, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. The sample group includes undergraduate students from the Department of Printing Technology and Packaging at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, as well as printing company employees. Research instruments consist of content assessments, media production evaluations, pre-tests and post-tests, and user satisfaction surveys.
The hypotheses suggest that the online module will meet high-quality standards, enhance post-learning test scores, and achieve high user satisfaction. Expected benefits include providing an accessible learning resource for Spectro Plate usage, offering guidelines for educators and professionals, and establishing a model for future online learning module development. This project underscores the increasing significance of e-learning in technical training, offering a cost-effective, flexible, and self-paced education method that enhances skill development within the printing industry.
