This study presents the design and implementation of an ozone-based air purification system integrated into a private shoe cabinet to mitigate odors and improve hygiene. The system utilizes a flyback transformer to generate high-voltage electrical discharges, operating at a frequency range of 35–55 kHz with a secondary voltage output of 6–10 kVdc. The ozone generator was strategically installed at the cabinet’s air outlet gateway to maximize distribution efficiency. Experimental results indicate that at an operating voltage of 8 kVdc, the system successfully produced an ozone concentration of 0.050 ppm within a 30-minute duration under the "High" cooling/airflow setting. Comparative analysis revealed a direct correlation between airflow velocity and ozone production, where higher fan speeds yielded significantly greater ozone concentrations than lower speeds. Furthermore, safety assessments confirmed that the ozone levels generated remain within the permissible safety boundaries for human exposure. The findings suggest that the developed system provides an effective and safe solution for localized air purification in confined storage environments.
