บทคัดย่อ

This research presents the design and development of an AC electronic load surge protection system aimed at mitigating high-voltage transients and faults within low-voltage electrical networks. The proposed system utilizes an advanced electronic voltage-clamping principle to regulate induction-period surges, ensuring that the supply voltage remains within safe operating limits for connected loads, thereby maintaining continuous functionality.

The primary objective of the designed device is to provide robust protection against voltage swells. Performance evaluations were conducted using generated test signals with varying Root Mean Square (RMS) values. The experimental results demonstrate that the clamping voltage remained strictly within specified regulatory standards across all test scenarios.

Further testing of the voltage swell mitigation mode confirmed that the device successfully reduces over-voltage conditions whenever the RMS levels exceed predefined thresholds. The system exhibits a responsive operational duration ranging from 10 ms to 1 minute, aligning with the initial design specifications. The findings suggest that this protection model is highly effective in enhancing the resilience of sensitive electronic equipment against common power quality disturbances in low-voltage systems.
