Abstract

In this paper, the digital watermarking based on modification of image pixels is presented with two new concepts to enhance the accuracy of extracted watermark. By embedding the watermark into a low pixels variation channel in CIELAB color space and using adaptive pixel replacement technique in the watermark extraction process, the accuracy of recovered signal can be improved. Sets of experiment are carried out to support our concepts. The results show the performance improvements in term of the accuracy of extracted watermark, compared to previous methods. The improved robustness of our proposed method against various types of image processing attack is also given and discussed. ฉ2010 IEEE.
