Abstract

This article presents a numerical algorithm using the Meshless Local Petrov Galerkin (MLPG) method to solve Navier-Stokes equations. This method with the moving least square (MLS) approximation for trial function is used to solve pressure-correction equation. The local symmetric weak form (LSWF) with the improved Gaussian weight function and the local unsymmetric weak form (LUSWF) with the classical Gaussian weight function on both regular and irregular nodes are present in numerical example. The numerical algorithm is not complicated which works very well. Moreover, the numerical results are satisfied for all schemes. ฉ 2013 Pushpa Publishing House.
