Abstract

This manuscript investigates the abuse of Internet usage by college students in Bangkok and metropolitan areas. Both perceived stress and sensation seeking are purposed whether they have the impacts on abuse of Internet and computer crime. The population is focused on undergraduate students due to their ages and the lifestyle of living in a huge and centralized city as Bangkok, which can be applied as a role model for conducting the test in other big cities. The remarkable results show that sensation seeking is the important factor to create the abuse of Internet and abuse behavior in computer. Future works and some suggestions are provided to promote and concern the problem.
