Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the notion of joint common limit range property for two hybrid pairs ofnon-self mappings and utilize the same to obtain some coincidence and common fixed point theorems defined on an arbitrary set with values in metric spaces. Some illUBtrative examples are also given to high-light the realized improvements. Our results improve, generalize and extend some results of the existing literature especially the ones due to Liu et al. [Common fixed points of single-valued and multivalued maps, Internat. J. Math. Math. Sci. 19 (2005), 3045-3055]. ฉ 2015.
