บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this research were 1) to create and develop activity model toencourage public mind of undergraduate students, 2) to study results of activity model toencourage public mind of undergraduate students, and 3) to study related factors of activitymodel to encourage public mind of undergraduate students. The research design was a pre-andposttestdesign. The sample were 40 undergraduate students of King Mongkut’s University ofTechnology Thonburi. The research findings were as follows: 1) The components of an activitymodel to encourage public mind of the undergraduate students consisted of principle, objectives,contents, learning activities, and assessment and evaluation. The public mind learningcomponents are comprised of Head, Heart, Hands, Help, and Happy. 2) The results showed that theaverage public mind scores between pre-test and post-test were not significantly different. Theexperimental group pre-test and post-test were not significantly different. 3) The factors andconditions concerning the activity model were university, instructors, and facilitators. Theysupported students to develop knowledge, idea, and public mind ability and also promotedundergraduate students to be a part of public mind and exchanged their ideas via public mindactivity model. The conditions were a practical timeframe to set up each public mind modelincluding assessment and evaluation.Keywords: Activity model, Public mind
