Abstract
Quality is a key factor of production process, and the essential factors in quality control is theinspection task, the inspection tasks are an important step in the production process. The visual inspection is basic of inspection task. Therefore, to improve the visual inspection process. The Inspectors should be trained to improve the performance of a visual inspection task and to better search performance. The objective of this research was to compare the efficiency of visual inspection training methods between Feedforward training, Feedback training (Treatment Group) and No training (control group) for non-geometric shape tasks in terms of inspector performance measures to identify an effective means of significantly thevisual inspection training methods for non-geometric shape tasks. The training methods were used to experimental with subjects. The subjects were provided three method of trainings: feedforward training, feedback training and group of not training. Performed the training according to experimental design and experimental procedure. The group of feedforward training and feedback training has provided with verbal description, pictures and information for performed the visual inspection as well as the visual inspection practice from workpiece used in the visual inspection and performed the visual inspection performance test. But, group of not training has performed the visual inspection performance test only. Based on the results of this study, After the trained for visual inspection on non-geometric shape tasks in each method. The results conclusion, the feedforward training was the best method of visual search, and it be more efficient than the feedback training and group of not training, on experimentally in terms of inspector performance of vis ual inspection which measured by speed and defect detection accuracy.
